中车戚墅堰机车有限公司始建于1898年，前身是上海吴淞机厂，由铁路督办大臣盛宣怀亲自选址、兴建。为避免战火，1936年迁至常州戚墅堰，并改名为戚墅堰机厂，是常州第一个大型近代化工厂。现隶属于中国中车股份有限公司，是中国铁路内燃机车的重要研发、制造和维修基地。产品和服务覆盖全球5大洲20多个国家和地区。

Locomotive Final Assembly Workshop of CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1898, CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd. grows out of Shanghai Wusong Machinery Factory, which was selected and constructed under the guidance of Rail Minister Sheng Xuanhuai. In order to avoid war, it was moved to Qishuyan, Changzhou in 1936 and renamed Qishuyan Locomotive Factory, becoming the first large-scale modernized factory in Changzhou. Now owned by CRRC Corporation Limited, it is an important R&D, manufacturing, and maintenance base of internal combustion locomotives for China’s railway. Its products and services can be enjoyed by over 20 countries and regions in 5 continents.
