Expatriates in east China’s Jiangsu province were invited to get s close-up view of Jiangyan District of Taizhou city, in Discover Jiangsu project sponsored by the Information Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. The expats from more than ten countries, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and Kenya, gathered to experience the surging vitality of the industrial economy, explore the poetic countryside and beautiful life, encounter the dreamy night tour of Qinhu Lake, and taste the historical heritage of the millennium old town.

The launch ceremony of the event was held at the Jiangyan Art Museum of Taizhou city. The expats visited the museum to gain a detailed understanding of Jiangyan's intangible cultural heritage, calligraphy and painting works, and cultural and creative products, experiencing the charm and historical heritage of Jiangyan culture.

During the two-day event, the expats visited Suzhong Pharmaceutical and Shuangdeng Group.

Luisa, a Peruvian student studying pharmacy at Southeast University, consulted with companies on drug production automation, drug preliminary research and development, and research.

The expats also visited Xiaoyang's house and the Qinhu Oasis, experiencing an immersive night tour of "Dreaming of Qinhu" and exploring the ancient town of Qintong.
